Why Grey Matters to Me

I produced this video to tell you about Grey Matters — our team in this Saturday’s Bay Area Brain Tumor Walk — and about why grey matters to me.

Join Team Grey Matters: www.braintumorcommunity.org/goto/greymatters

Unite to fight brain tumors in a fun 5k dance walk through San Francisco’s Golden Gate Park this Saturday morning, May 4th. Online registration closes at midnight on May 1st and it’s $10 cheaper than day-of registration and guarantees you an event t-shirt… so register to join Grey Matters today! (Meet in Hellman Hollow/Speedway Meadow. Check-in / Registration: 9-10am; Walk & Activities: 10am-1pm; Team picnic following.)

If you’re unable to join us, please consider a donation to fight brain tumors. Team Grey Matters is trying to raise $5,000. Visit www.braintumorcommunity.org/goto/greymatters and click on the blue “Donate to Team” button on the right side.

Huge thanks to everyone who’s donated and joined our team. It really means the world to me — and I can’t wait to see you this Saturday in San Francisco!!! Please share Grey Matters with your friends! GREY MATTERS!!!

Thanks to NBC Reporter Ben Aaron for keeping our spirits up with your wonderful, hilarious pieces. We hope you’ll come dance-walk with us this Saturday!!!! @ben_aaron

Thank you to Kris Knight with the National Brain Tumor Society for speaking with me (she’s the soundbite at :10 in the video). For more information, visit www.braintumor.org

Thank you to Lisa Rauchwerger for designing the adorable Grey Matters logo!

Thank you to Lindsay McRitchie at Motion Pacific for putting together the choreography for “Survivor / I Will Survive.”

And special thanks to a few of my friends at NBC Bay Area for your help!
