Our local Jewish friends came over to celebrate Chanukah with us tonight.

We made homemade latkes (potato pancakes) using the recipe from our favorite Jewish cookbook (Chocolate Chip Challah by Lisa Rauchwerger). This year I layered some sweet potato into the grated potato and onion batter, and it was delicious!!!

We really enjoyed lighting candles and sharing a special dinner with our dear friends. They were all so happy to meet Paisley. Plus, we had jelly donut holes for dessert, and they were fantastic! As if all of that that weren’t great enough, our sweet friend Bobbie brought us a box of her homemade Mandelbrot that I absolutely LOVE!

Today’s #OneGoodThing was celebrating Chanukah with our local Jewish family of the heart.

Day 361 of 366.

What was your #OneGoodThing today? Please share in the comments!
