Muddled apple mint tea

We recently planted several types of mint in our garden, including apple mint, and today we made a cup of tea from the leaves!

We’ve previously made tea from peppermint, spearmint, lemon balm and lemon verbena from our garden. But we’d had trouble getting the tea strong enough and we realized it was because the leaves needed to be muddled properly. While searching for a mint syrup to make a minty cocktail or soda, I found an inexpensive muddler and we were so excited to try it!

Today’s #OneGoodThing was our first cup of apple mint tea and our first use of our new muddler! Cheers to a successful cuppa!

Day 129 of 365. And Day 495 in a row!
