Planting the vegetable garden

Today the Nosy Parker family planted our vegetable garden.

My cousin and his awesome wife built us this gorgeous, huge raised planter box last year so we could grow our own food!

This year we’ve planted sweet peppers, kale, lettuce, corn, eggplant, tomatoes and zucchini. We’re hoping these vegetables turns out better than last year’s lettuce crop, which was terribly bitter.

Today’s #OneGoodThing was planting our vegetable garden! (We planted in the morning, but I forgot to take a photo until tonight. That’s why it is a bit dark!)
